EXPAND YOUR BRANDS’S PORTFOLIO AND GET REFUNDED WITH THE NEW ITA INCENTIVE PROGRAM
The US Market is one of the most important markets for the Italian agricultural machinery sector, in the last 3 years, on average, Italy has exported between 450 and 500 million dollars worth of equipment.
While it’s true that a lot of Italian AgTech Manufacturers have been able to expand into the US successfully, it’s also true that there are a lot of Italian companies that have not been able to reach their full potential in this market. Also, there are areas in the US where Italian brands are not present. This lack of presence in these areas represents a great opportunity not only for the Italian manufacturers but also for US importers, distributors, and dealers.
With the IIPP (Italian Incentive Pilot Program), the Italian Trade Agency is looking to incentivize the expansion of brand portfolios for US importers and Distributor/Dealer by adding new Italian Manufacturers’ brands. ITA intervention is devoted to reducing the financial exposure and the risk involved in adding a new brand. At the same time, the Italian Trade Agency aims to support the importers in finding the right brands for their market.
HOW From a practical point of view, the mission of IIPP is to promote the Italian AgTech Machinery through physical and/or digital marketing actions in the US by US dealers. The Distributor/Dealer must demonstrate to have an ongoing (but recent) agreement or to be about to sign an agreement with an Italian Agtech Brand. According to the value of the contract/agreement, the Distributor/Dealer will receive a proportional incentive to be used in promotional activities where the Italian Brand will be the (non-exclusive) object of the promotion.
